You’ve been wondering: How’s the $50 for the 50th campaign coming along? It’s a work in progress! We still need your help.
We want to celebrate the Townships Sun’s 50th anniversary this February with a reprint of our very first issue (February 8, 1974), and then a one-time, double-size “Legacy Edition.” This means double the work for our volunteers, but also double the cost. We are asking you to help us make this a reality. Please join us in our $50 for the 50th! campaign to raise $5,000.
Everyone who donates $50 before December 31, 2023, will receive a free copy of the Legacy Edition, and their name (or that of someone they would like to remember) will be inscribed in our Fifty Dollars for the Fiftieth Special Donors’ Scroll in this special edition.

Once we hit our 50th Legacy Edition fundraising target of $5K, we will be able to further invest in the 2024 Townships Young Voices, including higher cash awards for each of the fiction, non-fiction, poetry, art, and photography categories.
