Submissions are Now Open for the Townships Young Voices Competition!
This year’s theme is: What interests YOU? Submissions should relate to some aspect of life in the Eastern Townships, past, present or future.
The contest is free to enter and the deadline is January 31, 2025. Submissions can be uploaded via this form: https://forms.gle/9LPwkitmzZbFoR3e8
The competition is open to youth ages 11-29 who reside in the Eastern Townships. Sixteen prizes totalling $3,000 are available to be won in the categories of art, photography, fiction, nonfiction and poetry, plus a prize for the school with the most entries. Winners will be published in a special 2025 edition of the Townships Sun magazine.
Note: All submissions must be in English and use of AI must be disclosed and will be judged accordingly. Work may be disqualified if deemed not to be original.
