As a reminder: submissions are now open for Townships Young Voices competition, with twenty prizes totaling $3,000 are available to be won. Open to ages 11 to 29 who reside in the Eastern Townships can enter. Categories include art, photography, poetry, fiction and nonfiction writing. Winning pieces will be published in a special 2026 issue of the Townships Sun magazine. Deadline is January 31, 2026.
