A Visit to Brandy Creek
by Ruby Robinson & Beverly Taber Smith
On a beautiful day this summer, 12 members of the CFUW Dining Out Club travelled to Valcourt for lunch on the terrace at the Brandy Creek Bistro.
Some of the dishes we chose from the menu were: Fish and chips. Burgers. An especially delicious Poke Bowl with a choice of grilled chicken, shrimp, or smoked salmon on white rice. Marinated onions. Edamame beans. Mandolin-sliced vegetables.
The servings were generous, and service was pleasant and timely. The restaurant is beside a quiet stream and a shady walking area. brandycreek.ca
