$50 for the 50th Campaign: Update, December 22, 2023

The thermometer is heating up! If we’re reading it right, we’ve come three-fifths of the way to our goal for the $50 for the 50th campaign! Thank you so much for your help!

In the works are two very special 50th anniversary editions of the Townships Sun:

(1) January 26: A reprint of our very first issue (February 8, 1974), and

(2) February 26: A one-time, double-size “Legacy Edition.” This means double the work for our volunteers, but also double the cost.

All this is underway, plus our NEW Townships Young Voices 2024, with higher-than-ever cash awards for each of the fiction, non-fiction, poetry, art, and photography categories.

Remember, everyone who donates $50 before December 31, 2023, will receive a free copy of the Legacy Edition, and their name (or that of someone they would like to remember) will be inscribed in our Fifty Dollars for the Fiftieth Special Donors’ Scroll in this special edition.
