The fourth Townships Young Voices gala celebrated 20 young winners, awarded $3,125 in prizes, and unveiled the April issue featuring their outstanding art, writing, poetry, and photography.

April’s Person of the Month, Juana Ataalla, inspired 20 students to submit to Townships Young Voices—earning her its first Teacher Award and spotlighting her commitment to student voice and creativity.

Photo Detectives – Challenge #2
Over the past 50 years, the Townships Sun has published many historical articles and photos. Buried in its files were more than 1000 photos, plus many negatives and some art images which are being put in order and archived by John Mackley, current Board Director and Layout Designer.
